Usually, your attorney’s request for changes to the contract under the Attorneys’ Approval section constitutes a counteroffer. That means that you may no longer have a valid contract as soon as your attorney asks for a change. If no valid contract exists, the other party could change his mind about the transaction, or try to change other important obligations that you have already agreed upon. If no valid contract exists, everything could be open to negotiation again. The other party could ask for all kinds of changes, or even decide not to buy or sell.
